Last night I finally had the chance to watch Terrence Malick's film Days of Heaven (1978). Words cannot describe the experience of seeing this film for the first time (on a small laptop screen regretfully). Having seen all four of Malick's films now, I don't know of a director who so elegantly combines cinematography and music. His images are always vivid and his musical arrangements, kinda stirring. In Days of Heaven, it's something to behold. You gotta love a movie that really gets your emotions going. This is definitely one of them.
