This is the funniest thing I've seen all week. Ewoks behaving badly on the Today Show. Drinking... fighting... humping... moonwalking!

Foo Fighters: Wheels
There are three bands that a small group of my friends will constantly poke fun at: Creed, Nickelback, and Foo Fighters. I'm not so fussed on the first two, but Foo Fighters are definitely a band who have earned their stripes. Great videos that are always eye-catching and original, big hits, and dynamic live performances. In Brisbane, they rocked out for over two hours, including a 7 or 8 song encore. On their upcoming Greatest Hits album, you will find a new single titled "Wheels". From what I've read, President Obama was one of the first to hear it when the band were invited to play a short set at the White House. Anyhow, here's the clip:

Inside AIR's Atlas Studio
AIR's new album LOVE 2 was released recently. I saw them play one of their first live Australian shows at the V Festival in 2008. It was hands down the best set of the festival. Here's a clip that takes you inside their Paris studio where the new album was recorded:

Gonzo Doco
If you're looking for a great documentary to while away your time, check out Gonzo: The Life and Work of Hunter S. Thompson. Interesting segments include the back story to Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72, as well as the archive footage of Hell's Angels and Thompson running for Sheriff of Pitkin County, Colorado.
On a side note, I'm currently re-formatting the layout of my blog to allow for higher-res videos and pictures like these:

Apocalypse Now
A friend dropped by the other day looking to borrow a couple of movies. He asked me about Apocalypse Now which I was surprised he had never seen before. Anyone who loves film knows that this is one of the great pictures in cinema history. And once you've seen the documentary Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse, you might just be convinced that it's the greatest. In my mind, it is.
