"Drake's up next, see what he'll do with it" raps Jay-Z on Blueprint 3. And so we waited for Drake's official debut Thank Me Later. Even with Lil Wayne as his mentor, it's plain to see that Drake ain't no thug. Radio-friendly singles with downtempo beats is the order of the day. But the dude does have some flow. Does the album live up to the hype? Probably not. Poor Drake has been labelled as hip-hop's saviour for a while now so it was always gonna be tough. That aside, who ever said hip-hop needed saving? We've still got new Kanye and Lupe on the way!
Guests on this album include T.I., Swizz Beatz, Young Jeezy, the-Dream, Jay-Z, and Alicia Keys. Here's the clip for "Find Your Love" directed by Anthony Mandler.
