TRIBE in AUSTRALIA

A Tribe Called Quest playing in Melbourne & Sydney this August. It's their first time out to Australia and I dare say it'll be some time before they return. Tribe personify what smooth hip-hop is all about. They're known for their positive lyrics, artistic production, and laid-back samples. They broke up in '98, re-uniting only a handful of times through the 2000's. Their albums "Midnight Marauders" and "The Low End Theory" are two true classics of hip-hop. If you can grab yourself some tickets, do it quick. For Australians, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. There's no telling how the group will hold together with Q-Tip doing a lot of his own stuff these days (listen to Mark Ronson's track "Bang Bang Bang"). This is exciting!
