The Black Keys: Tighten Up

New Black Keys track from their upcoming album Brothers (due May 18). Produced by Danger Mouse. I can't say enough good things about the Black Keys. They're trying to revive rock, but in their own unique way (how many ways can rock 'n roll be recreated?). These guys are what you would call straight up 'musicians'. What they did with the Blakroc album was my favourite moment in music last year. I played Attack & Release for four straight weeks traveling through America last year and didn't consider changing it up once. The Black Keys deserve far more mainstream attention than they're receiving. Kinda hope it stays that way, so their music is never compromised. Still, some might think this track is a little more produced than usual. For the most part, I hope they try and keep the rest of the album pretty raw. Have a listen at Hype Machine.....
